Her passion for storytelling soon expanded into broader roles within the film industry, where she built an extensive career as a producer, production manager, and location manager on numerous Australian productions. Today, as the founder and Casting Director of Carpenter Casting, Megan draws on over 30 years of experience across film, television, and commercial production — combining artistic insight with practical expertise to connect exceptional talent with powerful screen stories. Beyond her professional projects, Megan is also deeply committed to community and personal growth. She is a member of the Casting Guild of Australia, a certified First Aider and Mental Health First Aider, and contributes to community initiatives as a volunteer hairdresser with Short Back & Sidewalks. She also shares her knowledge as a guest lecturer at WAAPA, inspiring and educating the next generation of talent.
