Our Philosophy
We believe Western Australian talent deserves a safe, supportive and encouraging space in which to grow. The Carpenter Casting workshops are designed to build confidence, deepen an actor’s understanding of the craft, and demystify the business of acting — empowering performers with the knowledge and tools they need to sustain a career, not just book a role!
These sessions honour every stage of the actor’s journey, welcoming beginners through to seasoned professionals, and meeting each participant where they are. Our philosophy is grounded in respect, clarity and practical industry insight — nurturing authentic, confident actors who are prepared for the realities of professional screen work.

Beginner Session – Learn how to audition well, in-room and via self tapes.
1 x 4 hour session
$200 inclusive of GST
Maximum of 12 people, 18 years +

Intermediate Series – Develop your craft , perfect your on camera skills and understand the business of acting. Receive one professional casting platform standard tape.
6 x 2.5 hour sessions
$400 inclusive of GST
Maximum of 12 people, 18 years +
22nd April - 1st July 2026 - Wednesday Evening Fortnightly - 6.30 - 9pm
29th July - 7th July 2026 - Wednesday Evening Fortnightly - 6.30 - 9pm

Professional Series – For working actors with screen credits, focusing on deep screen work and the business of acting. Receive two professional casting platform standard tapes.
6 x 2.5 hour sessions
$450 inclusive of GST
Maximum of 8 people, 18 years +
